My first year of recovery was the best and hardest year of my life. It was the year I came home to myself.

Fortunately I hit ‘rock bottom’ and it wasn’t a pretty sight BUT the journey to who I am today has been the best part of my life because the growth I have experienced and the lessons that I have learned have enabled me to become the person I’ve always wanted to be. I am now able to show up as a trustworthy, reliable and loving mother, daughter and friend (which I certainly wasn’t in the past) I do things now that I had NO idea that I even enjoyed or could do like half marathons, skydiving (jumping out of a plane 15,000ft), go back to studying & starting my own business which I would never have done with my constant “hangxiety” and never following through on anything except finishing the bottle. I’ve found my voice, believe in my self, rebuilt my self-worth, I have earned trust and respect from my kids, family, friends and when I look in the mirror I no longer feel ashamed - I love who I see & have become, I’m a proud UNAPOLOGETICALLY SOBER mom and you can be too - let me show you how, not just from my lived experience!
