Why work with me?
Hi, I’m Laurelle and I’ve been where you are, with no idea how to get out of the cycle of excessive drinking and self-destructive behaviour. Fortunately I hit ‘rock bottom’ and it wasn’t a pretty sight BUT the journey to who I am today has been the best part of my life because the growth I have experienced and the lessons that I have learnt that have enabled me to become the person I’ve always wanted to be. I am now able to show up as a trustworthy, reliable and loving mother, daughter and friend (which I certainly wasn’t in the past) I do things now that I had NO idea that I even enjoyed or could do like half marathons, go back to studying & starting my own business, which I would never have done with my constant ‘hangxiety” and never following through on anything expect finishing the bottle. You will explore some of the essential tips, tools and resources to get a positive, confident attitude in place to boss your sober journey. Preparation & Mindset is essential. We will explore/dive into your “WHY”, set your goals and intentions to become UNAPOLOGETICALLY SOBER Mom.

Getting Unstuck!
We look at how to break habits that no longer serve you and build new ones that support you. How to managing our environments and start to work with what we can control,creating healthy boundaries and stress management, trigger awareness and getting through the “Witching hours”.

Develop a Self-Care Plan That Works for YOU
Using alcohol as a self-care tool may provide temporary relief, but it’s ultimately counterproductive. It can lead to dependency, worsen mental health, and hinder genuine self-care efforts. A real self-care plan involves healthier practices like mindfulness, exercise, quality sleep, and nurturing social connections. These actions address underlying issues, fostering long-term well-being and resilience instead of temporary escapes.

The Power of Self-Compassion
We will look at how to cultivate self-compassion into our lives which involves being kinder you yourself, accepting yourself flaws and all and recognising that you are not your mistakes, learn to forgive yourself and manage mom guilt, shame and self-blame.

Effective Boundary Setting
When you start focusing on yourself, you'll become more motivated to set the proper boundaries because you'll no longer accept what doesn't work for you.It’s important at to learn to say “NO” and making time for yourself and your needs.

We will be exploring tips and tools for Christmas, managing overwhelm and sharing new Christmas traditions that you an start this year and Guess what – that fun and connection does Depend on alcohol! That’s right. In fact socialising is way more enjoyable without the blackouts, hangovers and regrets. I remember my 1st sober Christmas waking up before the kids, feeling excited, fresh, spending the day with them and REMEMBERING IT

Attitude of Gratitude
Actively practising gratitude can foster a mindset of positive thinking, which will help you focus on the good, raises you energy and gives you more confidence that leads to a healthier and happier sobriety.

Self-Forgiveness
Self-forgiveness involves acknowledging past events with a commitment to move forward, liberating yourself from guilt and shame. Holding onto negativity and self-punishment can manifest as physical ailments in your body.

Love Yourself Sober
We will dive into why self-love, self-worth and self belief is the key to a lasting sobriety. Without these you’ll find it difficult to remember why you made this choice and to keep going when things get tough.

Energy Audit
The key to increasing our productivity is managing our energy in four dimensions: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. We are going to explore the 4 dimensions to see where we can decrease your energy drainers and increase your energy levels and how to apply them in your daily life.

Let It GO!
Stepping into the future, letting go of the past and what no longer serves the new you. Self-forgiveness & forgiving others is a crucial part of your recovery, so we will be revisiting this again but from a different angle,in order to create a lasting sobriety having inner peace with yourself, forgiving those that hurt you, letting go anger, resentment & putting it all behind us once and for all.
